The latest updates can be found here

23.06.2016 The airport remains closed for flights and passengers for 23rd March

The cargo handling area in Brussels is open and full working.

For Import to Brussels it means we ask to book all cargo to FRA Hub and follow the Hub procedure (MAWB FRA; HAWB BRU). For export ex Brussels mainly FRA HUB will be used. Pharma will go via AMS; origins involved will be contacted today by the BRU team for a detailed procedure.

Once applicable, new information on routings will be given.

22.03.2016 Traffic towards airport is blocked and all airport operations are suspended

As a consequence of severe explosions in the terminal of Brussels airport in Belgium, traffic towards airport is blocked and all airport operations are suspended until further notice.

Luckily all our DB Schenker colleagues at Brucargo are safe.
Please be advised that our DB Schenker Brucargo office remains open but cannot guarantee full service. Alternatives will be checked during the course of the day

The border between Belgium and France is closed.
At least more tight controls will be held at the other borders as the threat level has been increased from level 3 to 4. Our collections and deliveries in the Brussels area are heavily disturbed at this moment as a result of the congested motorways. Other areas can be impacted as well due to measures being taken by the authorities.
