Cost Adjustment Factor (CAF) for Switzerland
Since the 15th of January 2015 the Swiss government has taken the decision to decontrol the exchange rates of the Swiss Franc to the Euro-currency.
This measurement means a decrease of the Euro-currency to the Swiss Franc by 17%, impacting the prices of our activities in Switzerland (handling, pre-and on-carriage).
As a consequence, we have introduced a CAF (Cost Adjustment Factor) for all shipments from/to Switzerland.
Due to the fact that we cannot foresee the currency fluctuations, we have decided on a monthly check of the currencies (source : DB Mobility Logistics AG), determining the % of the surcharge.
|1 CHF Value in EUR|

CAF is a % surcharge as from 01.02.2015 and applicable for all shipments (groupage, part loads and full loads).
This surcharge will be indicated separately on your invoices.
